The Nonviolent Communication (NVC) was developed in the 60s by Marshall Rosenberg. NVC is a practice of mutual understanding that improves the quality of relationships. Neuroscience helps us understand why this practice is so necessary and yet so difficult. Neuroeconomics help us understand how we make decisions. We need to get to know the experience of others in order to understand their perception; without this effort, there is no possibility of mutual understanding. Goal: to build more empathic and sustainable relationships. Exchanging judgment for observation, empathy and self-empathy, differentiation of feelings and non-feelings and the art of making requests to provide people with better connection conditions and dialogue. Four steps: observation, feelings, needs and requests. Four stages of NVC.
